Had a total blast with Sarah and Chris last night! They want to go to the Cleveland summer classic, Edgewater Park Beach. After their last concert at Edgewater Live, they just had to go back. We could not believe how wonderful the weather was, perfect for being a Lake Erie. Sarah really wanted to get on the giant sandstone break wall. We wanted to get in the water but it was still a bit cold. We also visited the west beach at sunset and we were having so much fun we had to do a bonus location at Wendy Park and Whiskey Island and we out to the historic Coast Guard Station.

There are still a few hidden sections of carpets of springtime wildflowers that can be found in Northeast Ohio. I feel so blessed with living so close to Cuyahoga Valley and the many hidden gems found throughout the Greater Cleveland and Akron area. We followed up from the bluebells and heading into the ledges.

Due to the amazing cherry blossoms at Wade Oval and the Cleveland Museum of Art, we just had to move our session from downtown Cleveland to this spring amazingness! We had a fun time chatting about the craziness of home ownership, life, and planning a wedding out of state. They are going to have an amazing wedding this summer in Florida right on the Gulf of Mexico on the beach. Super stoked to be joining them.

Read MoreLauren and Daniel flew in from San Francisco for a winter engagement session. It is always wonderful to get to know our couples and their personalities through an engagement session. When we show up for their wedding, it is like meeting up with friends! We started the shoot at Sagamore Hills. There had been a light dusting of snow the night before, which set the perfect winter scenery for photography. We then progressed to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, shooting around Brandywine Falls.

Typically, we photograph couples at Patterson’s Fruit Farm on their wedding day, so it was delightful to be able to hike back into the woods behind Patterson’s. The ponds and the forests were quite lovely, especially on a winter afternoon.
