Bethany and Chris had a lovely engagement session in the Gorge in Cuyahoga Falls. This couple has a quiet chemistry that is absolutely delightful to watch! It was a winter afternoon, and while the weather was cold, it was not unpleasant. We got to hike around, watching the river down below, and chatting about work and wedding plans. Bethan and Chris can’t wait to get married at the end of the summer at the Unity Chapel of Light in Tallmadge, with their reception at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls.
Congratulations Dustin and Danielle! I had the amazing privilege of photographing Dustin dropping down on one knee in the rain last night on New Year’s Eve. A few days before Dustin and I did some location scouting at the Sheraton and decided to use a private balcony over looking the falls and gorge of the Cuyahoga River. Their friends setup special lighting and photos help set the mood and memories. It was pouring the whole night as I waited outside for them (maybe like 10 minutes, but I was in my favorite Outdoor Research jacket). It was simply amazing! Hope to see you two soon!
Cara and Jared had a sparkling winter wedding at the Ballroom at Park Lane in University Circle in Cleveland.
This couple met online and have delighted in getting to know each other. They were very excited to get married and spend forever together. Both Cara and Jared have huge hearts and are meant for each other. Jared used to work with Cleveland homeless. Now he works with people students working to complete their GEDs and getting them into the workforce. Cara works with fundraising for a private school in Cleveland.
Jordan and Matthew had a lovely engagement photography session at Edgewater Beach and Rocky River Metro Park. It was great to meld nature and cityscape for this down-to-earth couple.
Katie and Pete had a fantastic engagement session in downtown Cleveland. It was wonderful to match the sparkle of this couple with the fall color Cleveland’s architecture.
Hanna and Greg had a lovely engagement session at Patterson’s Fruit Farm in Chesterland, Ohio. They flew in from where they are living in Texas to see family and take care of some of the wedding details. This couple was happy to experience fall, even if it was a bit chilly.
We walked the Patterson’s grounds, enjoying the maple trees collecting maple syrup, the apple trees, ready to be picked, and the fantastic pumpkin patch. Hanna and Greg were very cute together as we talked about life, weddings, and marriage.
We had a wonderful engagement shoot with Jennifer and Jimmy at the University of Akron. During the shoot, we got to learn all about Jimmy’s current research project as well as hearing what Jennifer was up to at the bank.
It was really fun watching Jennifer and Jimmy talk about their university days, as they met at the University of Akron. They would talk about different buildings they had stayed in or had classes in.
Tarah and Nick were absolutely delightful for the engagement shoot at Brandywine Falls in Cuyahoga Valley National Park and at the Cuyahoga River in Peninsula! It was wonderful to hang out with a couple completely comfortable being themselves.
We started our journey at Brandywine Falls, enjoying the fall color that finally was starting to shine. As we walked around the falls and into the woods, we got to know each other. Tarah and Nick are a fun-loving couple, always ready for an adventure.
Kyna and Vincent got married on a beautiful October day at Landoll’s Mohican Castle in Mohican Ohio. The ceremony and reception was sweet and meaningful to the couple.
Kyna and Vince first laid eyes on each other in the summer of 2011. Their best friends were in a relationship and made the introduction. There was a connection, but Kyna lived in Columbus and Vince lived in Sandusky. As the summer progressed, they talked and saw each other sparingly.
