Carissa and Kaan had an outstanding wedding and reception, starting in downtown Cleveland and culminating at a private residence in Hinckley. It was such a joy to be the wedding photographers for this dynamic couple! Carissa and Kaan met when they were paired for a charity dance competition. They became friends through the competition and started dating shortly afterwards.

Their wedding morning started with everyone getting ready - Carissa at their apartment in the Flats and Kaan at a nearby hotel. Carissa was chill, hanging out with her girls in the morning and getting beautified by her sister. After everyone was ready for the day, Carissa and Kaan had their first look on a bridge overlooking the Flats and downtown Cleveland. This happy couple was super excited to get to see each other!We took the bridal party to several great locations, both in Cleveland and in Hinckley, near where they were going to get married for photography. It was such a perfect day for being outside and for pictures. Late fall light is some of our favorite light for photography sessions!

The wedding ceremony took place at a private residence in Hinckley. Carissa and Kaan had a beautiful tent setup, with a ceremony overlooking a great field and beautiful fall color! Officiated by Kaan’s brother, Carissa and Kaan committed their lives to each other in a simple, sweet ceremony. Following the ceremony, Carissa and Kaan kicked off a great party, complete with bonfires, a food truck, live music and DJ MIMO for a night full of excitement and dancing. Carissa and Kaan both love a great party, so this was a perfect way for them to celebrate joining their lives together!
